I broadcast and stream Crystalline Conflict tournaments. There is currently a bug with the spectator camera.
This occurs when attempting to spectate a Crystalline Conflict (CC) match. If the player accepts the duty for the Crystalline Conflict match while in First-Person perspective, the camera will be forced into First-Person perspective every time the spectator focuses on a specific player to follow them.
This occurred during the EU Crystalline Conflict Regional Championship (CCRC), which occurred today. Here is a clip:

As you can see, this causes a lot of confusion in the broadcast. Allow me to explain what happened.
At 4 seconds in, the observer selects the player "Yun' Yun" on Team ESPORTS READY and is immediately pulled down into the First-Person perspective. The observer is confused as they're looking at the floor and have to pull back to a proper perspective. Normally, the camera would be back in a Third-Person perspective like normal gameplay. The runners of the broadcast pull back out to show the crowd as this bug looks wonky from a production standpoint.
At 21 seconds, the observer selects the player Taivas L'tulta on Team HOPELESS and the same issue occurs, pulling the camera right down into a bad perspective for the camera to properly show the match.
At 34 seconds, the same exact issue occurs. The reactions from the viewers in chat speak to the level of confusion this causes, and leads to a subpar viewing experience for all audience members.
Here is another clip from the EU CCRC:

At 4 seconds in, the observer selects the player "Cliffe Zanza" on Team UMBRA to focus on them and have the camera follow them. The camera is then pulled to the First-Person perspective of the player Cliffe Zanza and the spectator must use the arrow keys to fly away from there. As you can see, when attempting to broadcast a CC match, this is very disorienting and causes issues with the stream.
Why Is This An Issue?
The fix to this is to simply be in third-person perspective while joining the match. However, when running a stream for entertainment, the observer will oftentimes want to be in first-person perspective for clearer camera control showing off players or other camera angles to make a stream more interesting while running a broadcast. However, if a spectator remains in first-person perspective, the following match will have a sub-optimal viewing experience, as it is generally agreed upon that the most optimal viewing angle is following one player in a third-person perspective similar to what would happen in normal gamplay.
