    Making new thread about weird widescreen effect PLEASE HELP

    A couple months ago the settings for my cutscenes got changed and I don't know how to fix them.

    My default res is 1980x1200
    I got the same 16:10 monitor...

    Yet now cutscenes are cutoff at the bottom and the top with black bars. Like a "Cinematic widescreen"

    My regular gameplay is full screen but not cutscenes So I just want my stuff fixed so it goes back to normal.

    I tried fixing it on my end can I just get someone to manually unbreak what I broke

    What Platform are you using? (Steam/Windows/Mac/PS4 etc.)

    one (I don't have multiple)


    Does this occur with all cutscenes or specific ones?

    All

    Are you running any additional programs alongside Final Fantasy XIV?

    No


    Were any other major update or changes made to the PC at the time this issue started to occur?

    No
