This isnt just with Miqote. Its literally with all characters. Its only noticable if you play with dark skin tones where the teeth gap is slightly shown.

I play mostly dark skinned characters so I have noticed it before.

I wasn't aware! I didn't want to assume it was so widespread, so I was very narrow with my request. From other people's screenshots and comments like this though, it does seem to tie more into the other "please test with dark skinned characters more" thread.

Yeah Im cautiously optimistic about the new lighting changes. I really hope theyre adjusting it so that darker skinned characters dont look like a void in the darkest abyss lol

Male miqo face 1 (i think it's face 1) has the same issue. I believe they closed the gap with the update on that one though.

I won't lie I actually think the little hint of teeth between the lips for face 4 is a charm point-

If we could pick idle expressions like we can pick from idle stances I think it would help

Same thing on my Midlander from a lot of angles; I have to change her expression or be very careful with angles in many screenshots. Probably the worst on her of my alts, and this picture isn't even as bad as it can be.
