    if they are removing the current avatar fights on 2.0

    what will happen with the ifrit extreme and garuda fight requirement for relic weapons?

    I'm wondering about this as well, are they going to remove the Instanced Primal fights What will happen to the Primal weapons? The Relic Quest? I really need confirmation on this :0

    or are they making 2 Primal fights, one being instanced for weapons and quests, while the other for Summoning ?

    They said they MIGHT remove it but if they are to be returned they will under new storyline but the fight itself will exist

    this is precisely why i'm waiting for relic. the process in 2.0 could be even more... "fun" I guess lol. also, we'll have stuff like skillchains etc. in the future. I can't wait

    they never even said they "might" remove it

    they said content would be removed, but you can pretty much assume that said content is only the current storyline, and stuff thats "temperary" such as some of the "patch by patch" things theyve added like the invasions/kidnappings and so on

    No, Garuda kill is definitely needed for Relic Quest.

    And I don't know about removed, but obviously it will be changed at the very least. The whole reason we are killing these Primals lore-wise is because of the Seventh Umbral Era.

    They definitely said they'll be removing it and making them roaming. Ifrit Extreme and an instance for Garuda under Relic quest is likely since they're unrelated to Umbral era.

    your info is slightly off

    they never said they were removing the instances to make them all roaming

    they basicaly said there would be "both" versions, one has gear drops etc etc, the other is for the summon

    They have to change the "easy mode" fights because they are connected to the main storyline. Basically instead of Garuda attacking a Hamlet east of Tranquil a scientist might just be interested in handing you a prototype tuning fork to resonate with garuda's crystal and face off with it. Then the research will lead him to realizing that the Vortex headdresses are a better catalyst to drawing out a stronger potential of Garuda compared to what his prototype tuning fork offered.
