Tooltips

I've been playing for a while now and my tooltips have suddenly vanished. For both my skills and my buffs at the top of the screen. Unsure what I did here. I've looked through menus and have reset my UI as well. Maybe it's something simple that I've done but I'm not too sure. Any ideas?

Check your micro-menu, there is an option to enable/disable all tooltips there. You might have accidentally clicked on it by accident, specially if you play with a gamepad.

Micro Menu? I've gone through most of the menus, not sure what that one is. I'm heading off to work right now but I'll check it out later on. Thank you for the quick reply though. Much appreciated.

Its the list of buttons where you can select edible foods/potions, emotes summon your chocobo etc. There shoud be 2 buttons at the end, one a round circle with a ? that toggles tooltips and one a box with dots underneath that toggles tooltips for action bar.
