Thank you, this is exactly the option we need so everyone is happy. Heck, provide luminosity sliders or something as well! I just want to keep my bright pink eyes thanks to the limbal ring!

Options is always better.
Removing something that's been a part of my characters for 8 years would be down right mean.
I agree with this as well. I want there to at least be a glow, but I also have a character whose limbal eyes just convert her natural eyes to big, bright pink eyes which look great for her in cutscenes and certain scenarios. Its a tough situation in this regard cause I don't know how bright the glow of the new rings will be. It puts the look for my character in question which goes against the effort to do this update without people losing the essences of their character's design.Oh, the one in the right looks perfect to me.
Having the option would definitely be the best for everyone, but I wonder if people that like the update as it was presented would be opposed to the one in the right? I think the new eyes do look better, it's just the lack of glow that bothers people. And people that dislike the current glow just dislike it for how too bright and unnatural they look.
Wouldn't adding the glow to the updated eyes so they look more natural but still glowy, just like in that picture, also be a good enough solution for everyone?
I love this solution, please let those of us who like the glow keep it!
This would have been great! Now even some Au'ra players tell me that the new glow is too much. xD
I dislike it when my chars look like they have LEDs in their eyes.
I was sad that they made it glow that much again. I liked their first new option more.

I'm not an au ra but i 100% support having the option. It should be a pretty easy thing to implement too as it's just an alpha setting on one of the texture maps afaik. It should be if it isn't.
Anyway, i like both. Sometimes a "normal" look is good, but a glowy one is also quite cool and attractive. It would look especially striking at night. Bonus points if they can make it reflective instead of glowing, but i don't think the engine actually supports environmental speculars.
In an ideal world I'd also want an intensity slider, I want to be able to see my rings in pitch black darkness, damn it...
