Calling all Savage Foray (DRS/GD零式) enjoyers--Cloud DC DRS run

Nacl Free here, lead of Lego Steppers/Day Team discord server, a community focused around hosting anyprog Delubrum Reginae (Savage) runs.

I just saw the note about the Cloud DC stress test, and would like to volunteer my community to do some testing specifically with DRS, because we are huge fans of what is objectively the most social savage raid experience in the game. Still patiently waiting for the next 48-man savage to drop (shout out to A'zhek and his ongoing vigil).

I (and hopefully enough other folks, fingers crossed) are planning to just bumrush the cloud DC and grind out the Ivalice ally raids and Save the Queen content up to unlocking DRS. If you happen to see this and are not on a DRS-running server, please look up Lego Steppers and feel free to join us

To SQEX: I'm wondering if we can get dev/GM support for this. I'd like for a GM to be on hand to get us as close to being able to queue into DRS as possible, so ideally we want to skip doing the ivalice alliance raid quests and the BSF mettle grind and just have RR 15 unlocked so we can go in and help with the stress test in this specific niche corner of the game that we in the DRS-running community are very passionate about.

Anyway, looking forward to the stress test. DRS is probably the most fun battle content in this game in my opinion, and I'm hoping collecting this data during the Cloud DC beta test will help inform a decision to make future savage foray content that requires as much pre-instance coordination as DRS. As usual, I want to thank the devs for making this raid, as hosting DRS and building the discord community focused on getting as many people as possible of all skill levels got a lot of us through COVID with our sanity intact just by the sheer amount of social interaction required to build a team and a community to sustain weekly raids into DRS.

Bumping, not because I can join (am EU), but because DRS is one of the highest player-count instances possible, along with BA. If anything would be a stresstest, I think this would be it. That, and lots of concurrent, small instances, like hundreds of people going into dungeons at the same time, but I'd assume that'd be happening anyway by people being on the DC

I hope you are successful in getting dev assistance in boosting the questline to the point where you can enter (If the devs could just flag that whole questline completed and set the resistance rank to max for example)

Thanks. I also put a suggestion in the in-game feedback UI so hopefully someone on the dev team sees this. I agree I think this would be an excellent candidate for stress test data.

Now that it looks like the devs finalized the test schedule, I want to remind everyone that I am going to host a DRS run on the test cloud DC on the 25th at 9:30AM PST UTC -8. Would like to generate network data while doing my favorite content in this game to date, so hopefully I'll see as many of the foray enjoyers out there doing the R15 mettle grind as we can.

and actually you should be able to join, since I think everyone who wants to participate will just pick the DC as if it were one of the regular DCs in the game. I know there are many EU players on NA and in Lego Steppers, and I frequently have EU folks on my weekly 9:30AM run, they just have characters on NA that they log into.

This is a good idea. No idea how the Cloud system works yet, and I need to ACTUALLY clear DRSav before trying to join people trying to stress test it. But Love the idea.
