I would like either puppetmaster or beastmaster.

I would like either puppetmaster or beastmaster.
That is when the true Vana'diel of legend will be reborn.

People are leaning toward beastmaster, but with the news of the XI crossover, I'd say puppetmaster is also an option.
- BST may be too similar to BLU
- PUP had insane customizable mecha builds in XI that could make it one of the highest DPS classes in the game if you were rich
- PUP was introduced in the same expansion as the Mamool Ja in XI
- We already have the lore and the technology to make the mammets in XIV
- Could allow for PVP arenas of puppet on puppet almost Pokémon style

Either Beastmaster or puppetmaster. However I absolutely hate the limited job idea
what about none ? better spend these ressources on actual job design (fixing issues and make some job less clunky/rigid to play)
limited job were supposed to be some solo content you could spend your free time on but half blue kit is tied to dungeon/ex/raids. a questionnable game design choice.
really i'd rather have real jobs and not use iconic ff jobs on something that won't have any purpose.
Doubt we'll ever see it, but Freelancer would fit right in.
It would give people an incentive to level all their combat jobs all the way up, too.

Could also be some sort of "Druid" or whatever and transform into beasts/minions
The squirrel in Y'Shtola part of the trailer is sus

We already have puppet-on-puppet PVP. It was added back in 3.1, and nobody remembers it because it was a flop. Tying a whole job concept to it seems very silly, it'd be like tying BST to Island Sanctuary. You raise and tame animals there, so it's BST content right?

I want mech pilot. You fight in the G-Warrior. Armored Core style mech building that adds more parts as they update it.
It's PROBABLY beastmaster though, which is FINE I guess.
Beastmaster because I want to become the very best, the best that ever was...
DUN Dun Da DUN!

1 - Beastmaster
2 - Beastmaster
3 - Beastmaster
Also make it a whip wielding class
