I'm convinced those are two different eye options.
I wouldn't put it past SE to have accidentally compared different things. Perhaps they intentionally wanted to show contrasting vs complimenting options. Or perhaps they made a mistake because they just couldn't remember what character creator options they used!

I'd be willing to believe this if the exact same thing didn't happen to the male au ra later on when they show off armor materials

I actually like the new limbal rings. I never realized how outdated and jarring they implemented a polygon to show that glow.

Then you can pick a darker color and it'll look natural. The change would bar the option of making the limbals look prosthetic.

It’s fine you like it. However, considering the rings are magically applied rather than a natural feature, I like the old led look.

Leave both options for the "synthetic" ones and the "natural ones" is a good compromise here, but that "upgrade" shouldnt be forced on aura players imo, both should stay an option.

I heavily dislike the new limbal rings, while I loved the old ones, they gave a shiny effect and it was fun to have on my aura alts.

I am hoping that the eyes get adjusted a bit more, overall as eyes they look better, but I want the glow to be prominent as well

But that's the way it was until DT though, so both should stay an option, I personally dont think it looks better.
