Thoughts on Viper?

Can't say much other than it looks like what Rogue was meant to turn into instead of Ninja. But all we really saw was it doing some resource building with a basic combo and then activated some gauge-looking ability.

That's literally all they did. "flashy lasers" aside, we didn't know what they were, but this was effectively Physic, Broil, Adlo, and kinda-sorta Ruin 2/Energy Drain (take your pick). Imagine a "SCH reveal trailer" that just had them doing their /bstance, casting Physic, Broil, Adlo, and Energy Drain, then their /vpose.

Someone else (Mikey, I think) did a comparison to RPR and GNB (I think?) showing they did very little as well. GNB did their 1 and 3 combo steps, Superbolide, and Heart of Stone, they just did more dynamic angles and "instant replays" of parts of the attack or broke up the attacks, like GNB's -3 [which has 4 swipes] making it look like separate attacks or whatnot. But other than the "more dynamic angles and instant replay", the GNB trailer didn't show any more than the VIP one has, and the SGE one showed less. No Eukrasia Dosis, and no oGCD heals, CD or Addersgall based. It didn't even show Kardia.

Out of curiousity I went back from the RDM teaser through Viper, they’re all basically the same. We really wont see much until the job action trailer and the media tour embargo gets lifted. That’s when we’ll know a lot more info.

I for one was disappointed it wasnt a corsair or pirate type thing with pistols or something... Viper doesnt sound bad but it also isnt unique really in any way.

Not the pirate job as expected but I suspect it's an easy class to get into but with a high learning curve.

Time to see everyone renaming themselves to Kirito and all the black armor theyll be using luullll. Im going the Assassins creed Black flag/Rogue route with that armor. More of a piratey look
