Where in the raid? Trash mob or boss? Which one? I've been running the raid and I've not seen it.
Honestly I was crying and smiling like a little girl the whole raid, the nostalgia, the music, Prishe, the Ark Angels, Fafnir, San d'Oria's prince it was so perfect...
I really wouldn't mind if SE puts it on the cash shop but... GIVE US DYNAMIS RELIC GEAR PLEAAAAAASE
I got to admit I spend lots of the time dead because of typing my hype with other FF11 players, I just couldn't resist...
PLEASE SE, we can connect with other places and dimensions, right, let us go to Vanadiel !!!!!
I don't care, I will set up my char in Jeuno :3
Jeuno housing, please!

I didn't enjoy the fights dunno why but we did wipe once on every boss at least we cleared. Harder than endwalker raids on release day but still doesn't beat the craziness of shadowbringer raids.
Overall was a disappointment for me and ugly looking gear drops didn't help.
My first run went all in all well. We had some wipes and some critical moments but we cleared within a good amount of time.
I have no nostalgia towards 11 but my first impression was fine. : 3

It's a definite improvement over the Twelve. I'm just relieved the bosses don't spend twenty years tutorializing their mechanics. They show off one or two then just leave you to figure it all out, which is how it should be. As for said mechanics, most are pretty good. Pleasantly surprised.

I've been pretty disappointed with this expansion so far (that's putting it incredibly lightly...), and I hated the raid gear for this raid. I know it's the shadow guys, I know it's XI nostalgia, but with me absolutely disliking everything this expansion (graphic upgrade, story, job designs... everything), this raid was going to be the final determining factor for me in sticking around until the next expansion (that's with me being a XI player).
However, seeing so many positive posts, I'm really encouraged to see so many people having fun. I'll give it a week or so to see if this is just content hype (no offense), but these positive posts have really given me a very small measure of hope the next two years won't be a complete bust.
Please keep posting your feedback, it helps us players as well to see if the content is worth investing into.
I don't want to sing praises to the first day of Alliance raid. Once players learn mechanics and remember that they have an Interrupt button (wiped 2 times just thanks to them, sad DRG noises), the difficulty of the raid will drop dramatically.
Also, Item level rising with each weak will inevitably nuke the last dregs of challenge this raid offered. Even with people dying left and right, bosses were melting pretty damn quick. Fast forward a couple of patches, and it will be Aglaia all over again.
But, at least, mechanics were interesting and overall atmosphere around the raid and its story is much better than EW ones. They are trying interesting ideas, but are too afraid to actually step up and challenge players.
