Yes, the bonus ends up lower on those trials than from a dungeon but it's not that low. As Rongway said, it looks like you had already earned your bonus for the day from another leveling roulette and didn't notice the "you have already received this bonus" message before you queued.

Even though the xp reward is lower, the three story trials still give roulette bonuses that make it more xp per minute than running your highest leveling dungeon.

It sounds like you didn't get the roulette bonus. I see that your post was at 05:23 PDT. That's before the daily reset, which is at JP midnight / 0800 PDT / 0700 PST. When did you last run the roulette before that? Do you have a screenshot of your chat log showing the xp awarded, including the roulette bonus?

Levelling roulette is only good once a day. After that just queue the highest dungeon you can for your level (i.e if you are lvl 41-43, queue The Stone Vigil, when you reach lvl 44 switch to Dzemael Darkhold until you reach 47 and so on). You’ll get more xp that way than queuing with roulette more than once a day.

Frontlines roulette gives good xp and it starts at lvl 30. You can even level up jobs you don’t like much with that as you can queue on them and then switch once inside.
