    IIRC they had a maintenance last halloween lmao. i only remember because people who were trying to do fun glam events in game were pissed since the midweek maintenance cut into their planned events.
    odds are they'll bring back that haunted house event or whatever, and probably put the witch outfit/broom mount on a 10% off sale or something.

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    Hold on, just googled it and people on Reddit says there will be one and the reward is an emote. Where did you hear there wont be one?

    My guess is an announcement will go up sometime today for it. They usually post it on Lodestone one week prior to start. Start dates in the past have been between Oct 18 and Oct 23.
