Ocean Fishing Broken?

All of a sudden I can't catch a fish anymore. I hit lvl 86 today and have gear and rod in the 80's and bought some hi cordial today in case I might need it and wham...it won't let me catch 1 fish. As soon as I cast, my gp goes down from full to 20% so I don't have enough to reel the fish in. It just started and I'm totally confused. I left the instance in frustration. I also had no buffs on so nothing was eating it away.

Sounds more like you accidentaly moved the hook ability off your hotbars when editing some others at some point. Hook never costs any GP.

You may be using Triple hook or Double hook instead of the normal Hook ability

While Double hook and Triple hook consume GP, as the name implies, it increases how many fish are obtained

The normal Hook skill wich you started with, is always free to use and yields a single fish under normally

I did move some of my hotbar icons around and since hook and double hook look the same, I didn't notice and thats what it was lol cost me a bunch of money buying better gear which didn't help lmao
