    - Accessible with Blue Mage.
    - Incorporation of actual duty actions, e.g., equivalences to lost actions/logos. Then you can enhance complexity around these. Not necessarily something that you actually craft or need to farm for, but a particular loadout that you can select for a given set of floors.

one for blue mage might be fun... though that might require a few unique enemies on each floor which are spawned randomly to learn skill from... otherwise it would probably be like one fix run to always learn the same skills in the same order.

A mixture of all the deep dungeons would be nice.

I like Palace of the Dead's skill requirement, but having to do like 120~ floors where you can barely stay awake before anything start to be challenging - even solo, is tough.
HoH's massive rooms, and Primals that you can use are fantastic. But it feels kinda lame that casuals will only have a reason to go up to 30 and nothing else.
Eureka Orthos is either ridiculously easy, or painfully tedious. It only depends if you are on a floor with mobs that have 1-shot mechanics (horrible idea to give so many mobs that) or mobs with gaze attacks/pulls that can screw you over. But I loved the Demiclones.

But beyond that, I wish to see more interesting modifiers on the floors and change how things effect everything.
For example, I wholeheartedly think that if the floor has the Blind debuff, you should be immune to gaze attacks - just like you are immune to pull-in attacks when Knock-back is disabled.
Bosses being more variable would be cool too.
More crazy items to use too would be grand.

    Hilda's Ponytail as a reward

ilvlGear that is savage raid ready

100+ floors that progressively get harder as you go, much like mythic style dungeons from WoW

I want automated matchmaking with a random group of fellow players to be available throughout every floor. Let me finish the content and the story even though I don't have have the bandwidth to schedule a static or run marathon sessions.

I would like it to not exist and have the resources diverted to something new and interesting.

Oh can we agree that exploratory zones should stay non-existant for the rest of the game then!

Gotta have that fun new interesting content!

I'd really like a version of deep dungeon that incorporates lost actions and also does not require that you kill enemies to progress to the next floor and rather incentivizes it through some other means, like making specific enemies drop certain items/actions.

I think SE needs to reflect on what other mystery dungeon games do that makes their gameplay loop/design formula work and why people enjoy dungeon crawling games if they want Deep Dungeons to be improved upon or become a bigger hit with players. personally? I think they need to take a few pages out of Spiral Knights' book with how varied its floors can get with locations, structure, rudimentary puzzles/obstacles, enemy design, etc. despite all of its ridiculous RNG/time based grinding, the game still has an addicting gameplay loop because you can just pick a zone to see how far you can get, and still come home with something even if you die or fail to reach the end.

in other words, it needs a tad more basic dungeon crawler/roguelike design, players need more incentive to keep going at it other than exp because wiping in DDs is incredibly demotivating. Saraide already mentioned the idea of bringing over a lost action/essence system, and I think that can work really well if its implemented to make players play more to unlock more, like your average roguelike. even if you die, you can still amass actions/essences so you can prepare better for future runs. a better reward structure in general so it feels more connected to end game would be appreciated, too, such as being able to get augment coins and all that.

Eureka Orthos is the worst deep dungeon. It missed the mark in a lot of ways and its honestly pretty forgettable. The biggest nail in its coffin is that the first 30 floors are way too tanky, not hard by any means, but it takes so long you're better off leveling alt jobs in Bozja than you are in EO.

    ----

To me I'd want a big shakeup to deep dungeons, something like a lost action system would go a long way to change things. More effort in unique tilesets and variation. Dread bests were cool but more random events that spawn in the dungeon would be fun, dread beasts in EO were cool, the animals and huge floors of HoH were cool, but it needs more stuff like that, way more.
