What was the goal of the shatter map rework

The map can be fun, people just play it wrong. If you engage in pvp, you stop the other team from breaking ice and they get less points.

When you’ve got a team that does that it can be fun but when you end up in a team where only 5-6 people want to pvp while the rest refuses to do anything else than breaking the small ice that spawn near the base it’s boring as hell and you can’t win. Having small ice that keeps spawning non stop near the bases was a bad idea.

I got into a match that we easily won the other day but it was not even remotely fun. Our group was the only one that went to mid and attacked the other teams’ big ice. The other two groups never bothered with anything else than their small ice. Even on their own big ice, there were only a few players that came but they were so outnumbered they would immediately die and feed us. I even got BH5 just catching stragglers in the aoe I primarily directed at the ice.
