Like I said. It gets down to the point where I'm hitting a button just to do a few damage with it, if you actually scaled me down until it was even in output. I'd not be having fun.Further, the average player doesn't excel at their Lv90 job to begin with, so in case (1) many higher players would actually do less damage than expected and things would go slower on average. If the devs compensated for this, then (1) in general would also simultaneously be issue (2) for those players with higher skill at their jobs.

I can only imagine how much more of a joke dps check would be in ultimate, But l am ok with it if it happens.

Doesn't have to be that way in ultimate, i only mentionned casual content dungeons. Please don't shove words in my keyboard xD
They should've made duty support AI competent enough to do original dungeon mechanics rather than changing the dungeons to fit duty support
Probably the only sane take in this thread.
Level sync is staying the way it is because otherwise, new players would be flamed in dungeons and trials.
If you look at Blue Mages, who already have what you want, parties for *SYNCED* EX trials or Savage raids as a team of BLUs are routinely set to an IL requirement of 500 despite the fact that these raids were done easily when the job's max level was 70.
Do you want to see that sense of elitism flood out into the entire community?

As soon as you figure out a way to sync Benediction to not be overpowered compared to a Lvl15 Conjurer's kit, we'll consider it.
Or, replace Benediction with Holy. Or Hallowed Ground. All of Bard's songs. Ninja being able to use Trick Attack mid-combat.
There's more to balancing than "just make numbers smaller."
A lot of them already are, just look at UCoB. That ultimate was never designed for current level 70 job kits, or new jobs like Gunbreaker doing way too much damage for a tank at 70.
