WoL prompt: what hobbies does your character have?

What kind of plants does she particularly enjoy gardening with? Does she lean more towards ornamental or edible kind of plants? Often a mix of both is nice, though I find each gardener may be bias towards one of those two groups- of course there are plants that are both edible and ornamental (such as the hosta plant).
What is her favorite dish to cook? What is her favorite spice?

Her shop idea sounds it'd be a cute little corner shop! Maybe my brain fills in the gaps more an intended, but I can imagine it full of flowers, with shelves decked in potions. Maybe her remedies would include medicinal plants she grew herself- though that is getting into herbology as a discipline (not to be confused with homeopathy).

She loves both ornamental and edible plants. She needs to keep a variety and tries her best to keep rarer flowers alive, even if she has to use magic to keep them up.
Her favorite dish to cook is tea, mostly because it uses the most items from her garden and doesn't require her to go to the market-board.

What was her weirdest adventuring job/experience?

There was an incident in the Dravanian Forelands, involving a bushel of overripe caelum fruit, four hungry gnath firedrones, a wyvern with an ingrown toenail, and several barrels of airship grease. The details have been forcibly forgotten with copious amounts of ale, but let's just say Iyami always caries spare clothes and plenty of soap now.

Does she ever slow down while adventuring even if the party is trying to work quickly?

Working with the party is part of the adventure. After all, no bun is an island. She can always come back later when there's less things around to try to kill her.

what kinda Golden saucer addiction? Triple triad? Chocobo racing? The GATEs? All of the above?

Mostly GATEs. Keeping track of Triple Triad regional rules is headache-inducing, and chocobo breeding and raising takes too much time and effort. And you never get rid of that chocobo smell....

Vencio just recently enrolled on the academy of Architect design & lore/history at Sharlayan’s educational institution for the hopes of achieving some academical understandings & practices whilst momentarily absent from adventuring (to be resumed in Dawntrail).

This may prove to be challenging & anxious for him given he’s not intellectual in the fields of academia & isn’t savyy with intellectual mindset sorts & it was through great luck that he’s been admitted after a long wait list while sponsored by the Adventurer’s Guild (a letter of recommendation was delivered) to be given the opportunity.

In my own canon-head, he’s momentarily pausing from undertaking further missions/quests from the adventurer’s guild & just couldn’t be bother to be admitted to join Ishgard’s Templar Knights. Besides, given the zealotry & religious aspects, Vencio just can’t be bothered to dwell on a Theocratic/ Royal society (especially his adventuring has given him so many eye openings & broaden his perspectives with great heart & experiences). Therefore he’s no longer a Knight of Ishgard but a Knight of the realm without banners or affiliations.

This academia enrollment is sure to bring both excitement & anxiety on him as this is completely new to him.

Mine is an artist. I pretend she’s the one who made all the sightseeing log paintings from the sketches she took on her travels. lol yes I do have the entire log complete. I have a little painting studio set up for her.

that strange story intrigues me, but at the same time I get the sense it is definitely a gross-out type of story... Does that experience ever come back to haunt her?
Very true! Maybe when the party leaves she can take a moment to go back and explore? I can imagine monsters take a while to come back.
Also, as someone who attempted the chocobo racing part, I can confirm it takes a lot of effort (if done all at once) to get that mask... well I have yet to get the mask. I think I will need to try grinding for it once more. What would a Chocobo even smell like?

He may be surprised about academia! Unsure about the academia's culture, but from I know he may not need to worry too much. Maybe if he joins a group of students who share a similar mindset he may have a better time! Though, finding said group may take asking around. He may just fit in and just need to find a study group to catch up.

What was your least favorite sight seeing location to obtain? I remember completing ARR's and it was tedious pain... but hey Rhel'a got a free bird out of it!

Which side job do you feel your character favors the most?

Presently he is primarily a White Mage, and moving him towards also being a Protector (Paladin/Gunbreaker) as his core identity.

We merge with Ardbert at the end of Shadowbringers. I feel a piece of his personality lives on in my WoL.

Healing Arts: Astrologian, Scholar, Sage
Bodily & Spiritual Health: Monk & Dancer
Community Service in his Hometown: Dragoon & Bard, Botany & Carpentry

I already feel like this is more than enough, and approaching Mary Sue territory more than any other character I created in an RPG lol. So, the rest of what I've levelled would be non-canon.
