So basically you're saying a native 64bit application performs 2x faster than a 32bit app running on an x64 CPU.Because a 32 bit OS only has 1 thread through the North bridge of the MB. A 64 bit OS has 2 threads through the North bride of the MB. 2 > 1, that being the case that will allow more datum transfer, theoretically loosening up the CPU bottleneck letting the game run 2X faster depending upon GPU architecture of the new engine.
Well, that's not exactly what real life examples show. 64bit photoshop does not apply my effect filters twice as fast as it does in 32bit mode, for example.
