I guess the catch is the word "certain". That implies it won't affect all unlocked duties, only some of them.I'm not sure this is a bug per se, so I thought I'd ask and see if I had just missed something. The 6.5 patch notes regarding Wondrous Tails said:
"In the event players have not unlocked certain duties, the available objectives will change."
Yet both I and the friend I play with haven't seen this. We are both still getting things we haven't unlocked. Just today (late on it) I got The Minstrel's Ballad: Hydaelyn's Call, which I don't have unlocked. This is just the most obvious one, not the only one. It will happen for every row but the top (where it is just do duties of certain levels).
We cannot figure out why it isn't working, and so far Google has told us nothing. It has only been two books, but it is odd that it is both of us. Is it actually a bug or are we just missing some step? I feel like we are doing something wrong since we haven't found other posts about this issue. There might be, we just can't find them.
It would probably take the community working together to figure out which are affected and which aren't.
That makes a lot of sense, while being very disappointing. We were so happy to see that on the patch notes. We're both more casual players so doing the newer extremes and raids is a lot of work for a book stamp. Raids are possible, but the new extremes are just a no there. We only go for the mounts/clearing it when we can do it undersized, from lack of a static and lack of time to spend on learning the one trial. I guess maybe they reroll spoiler ones?
Are they story spoilers that are in there? If they are, that would negate my admittedly flimsy theory. I'm not sure why they didn't just give us ones we have unlocked to start with, but it must make sense to someone. My friend and I don't get the same ones either, so I can't even say it was to make it super simple on the devs/code every week by giving everyone the same things.

Thank you!
I can see that being a spoiler, sort of. It wouldn't be an obvious one, at least not to me. But any of the extremes could be. I wonder what the criteria used by Square Enix is? Since it doesn't seem to be 'spoiler' potential.
I can't even say that it sticks to your expansion as I think that second one in the second row is an alliance raid from post Endwalker. I could be wrong though, I don't have them memorized. If you haven't hit or just Shadowbringers that is actually impossible for you. Well, so is a lvl 90 dungeon if it pops up but that one I could kind of give a pass just because of the nature of that row.
Right? You would think, maybe, I dunno, a char not through Stormblood maybe doesn't have that yet? It kinda damns folks on WT who inadvertently overlevel.
