It's a medium. Just a heads up for anyone that may want it as the plot is nice. I can't justify having it as I never use it.

Lottery put to an end any ability of anyone to just scoop up a newly demo'ed house.
Thank you for giving another player a chance for a medium.
1st of all the placard system was 24 hours maximum, and there was also a thing called "prime time" which was a time window of ~~4-5 hours in which the house had over 65% chance to sell.
Stop with the misinformation lol

You know what that timer didn't effect? New wards. You know what the lotto ruined? New wards.
The lotto should only have been implemented on houses that had been demolished or reclaimed.
But... Lottery was the savior of housing wasnt it ? At least according to this forum.. lol
Now it's all "fair" thanks to it, once again according to this forum
(it actually isnt fair, nothing has changed, except that now you have to wait 5 days to lose, 4 days of results, to then bid again, wait 5 more days to lose, then 4 days of results, rinse and repeat)
to add to my ( )'s, not only do you have to wait 5 days to lose and 4 days of results, but instead of 30-40 people at most on the plot, you have multiple hundreds of bids on a single plot on a lot of worlds.
But hey, it's all about "fairness" right ? Now you get "fairness" by being agaisnt 300 people on a single large.
Shirogane, Ward 2, Plot 60 Large 45,000,000 185 Accepting Entries Free Company 1 hour ago 8 days ago
Shirogane, Ward 9, Plot 46 Large 40,000,000 141 Accepting Entries Unrestricted 3 hours ago 4 days ago
Mist, Ward 15, Plot 37 Medium 16,000,000 126 Accepting Entries Unrestricted 3 hours ago 8 days ago
Empyreum, Ward 27, Plot 21 Medium 20,000,000 105 Accepting Entries Unrestricted 3 hours ago 4 days ago
This above, is what people asked for. (and there's 3 more days to bid so it will go up)

Eh, still. It was like waiting around trying to pop an S rank.
Wait. It was like waiting around trying to pop an S rank if only the group that spawned S ranks got any rewards from an S rank ... Oh Twelve. Someone pass me the cerebral terebinth, the mental image of the game if that was the case is too ugly ...
In any case, enough that you could practically preface a guide for first time house hopefuls with "1. Ask your stockbroker or financial planner about shares in LOGI." LOL
Ehhh. I feel like the opposite is the case regarding the lotto, honestly.
Do you really prefer the days when your chance of getting a house or not more or less 95% hinged on being able to get up at 5AM ... wait, no, remember to get up at 4AM to make sure you have time to install the patch!! ... and then the also very much a lottery RNG on what queue spot you were given?
And since housing usually dropped on major patches, make that also "have to compete with the people trying to rush to get in for the raid/EX trial before they miss out on the best PF opportunities" (and Twelve help you if it was an even patch, then you had all the omni's trying to rush in to cash in while the week one statics were still buying gear) clogging that server queue as well.
And the chance that you would get punted instead of admitted, find yourself back at the end of the line and welp, in the immortal words of Peanuts, "FORGET IT KID!"
Lottery makes new wards a LOT more chill and less stressful. Most of the time you won't even compete with raiders or crafters for the queue, because new ward plots can't be entered for until the beginning of the next complete entry period after drop. It also incentivizes people to politely split the odds (except for the most wanted plots like mansions, most people realized it was not only polite but practical to look for one that still had no entries if possible before competing with someone else's entry ... meanwhile, with the old FFA system, you mostly couldn't afford to be nice to others, there was just no time).
Wouldn't FFA new wards + lotteried released plots give us the worst of both worlds then?
I wish that after a few years of "owning" a house, you could straight up sell your house through an in game real estate market board (furnitures included).
