I think they did add special dialogs for the god if you chose him as a patron. I'd like to see how all the gods react now. Is there somewhere all the dialogues of the gods and their chosen ones?

This is what Azeyma told me:

Azeyma: Hehe, I was right to entrust your zealous scholar companion with the message. Ever since our first meeting, I knew that I simply must see you again.

Yeah, it says different things if their are your patron. I got the same as i choose Azeyma too. I think Byregot also say something different depending on if you have leveled crafters or not. I was at maximum so he comment something about my master crafting or something like that. I do not remember exactly the text.

They all just have a super generic hallmark greeting card quote. They all ended up feeling really hollow to me because of that. Better not to talk to them.

Oschon also says something at the conclusion if he is your patron but I forgot what it was.

I composed the lines of recognition from all deities into a file: Special Words From the Twelve to Their Followers

The difference from common lines is tiny, literally an extra word or two. Anyway, a greeting from a god is still a greeting from a god :)
