It can be but is still content that was not done. There is also unreal that, while old content, is still fun. It feels like people are better at it now than in the past but that is probably the abundance of self-heals, abilities and extra mit like usual and red mages.

We can certainly argue "there isn't much midcore content" for people who don't do raid content, but otherwise there are still these things that keep other people busy for longer than 2 hours.

The alliance raid is actually a side quest. There is also the Custom Delivery story. The other one I was thinking of was Tataru's Grand Endeavor but that isn't until 6.55 actually, so we'll have to wait for that.

Is the custom delivery story good? Havent done any of that bc it looked boring xD but yes i have done tataru grand endeavour.

Every MMORPG relies on players wanting to repeat existing content until the next content release is ready. It's not realistic to expect a constant stream of new content.

Other MMORPGs are no better than FFXIV in this respect. Some might have more frequent patches but they're more likely to be filled with bug fixes and UI updates than a decent amount of new content. If you think that's not true, then give those other games a try. Once you've caught up on all the content they previously released, you're going to find yourself disappointed by the amount of new content you're getting.

As for "spreadsheet" content. it's your choice to rely on a spreadsheet someone else has prepared instead of doing the content on your own and making your own choices. Was efficiency worth it when it came at the cost of fun and left you bored?

So little content. Im running out of things to do thats so sad bc i really like this game and wanna play it alot.

The rest of the content is coming in 6.55. This is the normal amount of content for a patch. It's higher than normal actually since we're going to get crafter relics in 6.51 which should be next week and so far been coming out in the .X5 patches instead of the .X1. Did you literally just start playing in 6.4? It's been like this for years. The .X patch adds the raids and pretty much nothing else, the .x5 patch adds the side-content. Been like this since at least shb.

I have been playing for 2 years, but i didnt know that. I just recently started paying attention to the patches bc im running out of things to do.

This tends to happen with the X.5 patches being broken up into two parts. We'll probably get 6.55 after the EU fanfest so more stuff is coming. I just view it as a nice breather before I have to farm out the final manderville weapons and pvp

Yes i do most of that (except pvp and Island sanctuary bc it doesnt interest me) but i still think thats a bit too little content, i wish they added more cool questlines per patch or something. Oh well.

Thats true

6.5 was about as small as all the others 6.x patches
