Body Count mechanics.
Body Count mechanics.
That is only because the majority of people don't understand how to see the visual cue to resolve the mechanics.
Puppets bunker 3rd boss, look at the screens. Any white markers on it, need that many more people.
Alexander AOE marker with silver balls floating above it, that's the number.
I know there are more than just those two, but they are the ones that I see most during roulettes.
So simple, yet so hard for people to understand.
TBH I was thinking more on an EX/Savage perspective... It's just an annoyance to prog through. That is only because the majority of people don't understand how to see the visual cue to resolve the mechanics.

Actually, I don't hate the mechanic per se, but I do hate the fact that nowadays almost every high end encounter has it. Let this be more of a rare occurrence.
Thinking about high end mechanics on a second thought, I also wish they would give 'Limit Cut' some vacations through Dawntrail.
"Body count" mechanics are most commonly referring to things that will either wipe you or result in more guaranteed deaths if you don't have your entire team, which can include, but is not limited to stuff like Enumeration. That is only because the majority of people don't understand how to see the visual cue to resolve the mechanics.

There's considerably more of them in the present vs. the ARR through SB era and I agree it's rather frustrating when you're essentially required to do every step of a given mechanic correctly to actually see more of a fight because it's impossible to recover if anyone dies at all at specific points.

I don't do much of the higher end stuff that isn't Extremes, and even then I'm trying to get back into on-patch Extremes, but haven't had the motivation to do that recently. So the only ones that came to mind were the ones you see in roulettes that have the markers like that(guess Omega Shiva also has Light Rampant, and WoL has the meteors that need people to light up the pads...but that appears not to be what was originally meant)."Body count" mechanics are most commonly referring to things that will either wipe you or result in more guaranteed deaths if you don't have your entire team, which can include, but is not limited to stuff like Enumeration.
