No such role as DPS, no one says (and if does is completely incorrect): "I am a damage per second".


What, are you a floating number on a screen? Are you the digits on a combat log? Because THAT's the Damage Per Second.
And the one who does it is, in fact, all roles. And a role specializes on it: the Damage Dealer.

I think the funniest part about this whole thread is that your point isnt even true. The numbers that float on your screen and show up in the combat log are not dps numbers.

Correct. Those are Direct Damage numbers (DD).
