New island grind

Meh I only go on my island once a week lol. No real need to grind it. Not why I got my sub tho. Now if the island had instanced housing then you could use the "stay subbed" argument.

It doesn't so I out it ok the same level as Doma really. Just with animals, gathering and gardening added in.

The island levels itself. There is no need to grind. Before the patch I just scheduled the workshops for 2 weeks with cheap mats and collected the xp on patch day. That got me to lvl 17. There’s a discord channel that makes a spreadsheet to maximize cowries but that currency is basically useless now and the xp gain is a fixed amount per hour regardless of what you craft.

Then all I did was gather about 50 of each new mat and used the granaries to passively get more of the new mats which was more than enough to get all upgrades. The rest of the XP I got from the workshops again and I reached lvl 20 doing very little.

Got my lvl 20 mount, garden is set with new veggies, all I need to do now is spend 5 minutes a week to go there once a week to craft the 3 items needed for the boxes/vouchers if I feel like doing it. I wish there was a house with an interior to decorate as well as the possibility to have some useful features such as retainers as I quite like the place and the decorated exterior .

I'll probably buy and use one coffer a week, then when I hit 2000 I'll get the lsd rave mandy. It'll take an extra month that way, but maybe I'll luck out and get it early. Plus I'll need to burn some coffers anyway for the perifool.

The problem with Island Sanctuary is that it is neither inspiring, nor absolutely hated, so it is kind of forgettable. I completely forgot about the Island Sanctuary and someone had to remind me there was a deep dungeon. x x

I'm pretty close to absolute hate for it, but engagement statistics aren't going to show that, because they keep putting things I want behind it so I have to do it on multiple characters.

Mount sucks and I've been selling the vouchers for gil, but they've been crashing pretty hard.
