PVP in this game is fun

Yes, l remember that. I was playing scholar during feast. I would try to get help in a pvp discord, but more often than not people would ping me and trash me for being new. Also, training almost never pop. If l want to play, it got to be during the season playing ranked, and ranked inherently has more toxicity. I enjoy less than 5 minutes casual cc pop l get these days. I will take the current system any time.

Oh man, Scholar as well? That reminds me how it essentially boiled down to WHM being the strongest overall, AST being better for people who knew how to use it and SCH was super niche. Ironically the one season Scholar got a buff to Dissipation to make it keep up with other healers it already got nerfed mid season for being too strong - perhaps rightfully, but still funny given how other jobs were allowed to stay dominant for full season(s).

I'm glad all jobs now have a place. Some need a bit of work still, but we're getting there.

You must be talking about pvp before 6.1

I don't know much about pre-6.1 pvp, but what I do know is that it was so bad I couldn't stomach it for more than maybe one frontline match every time I happened to forget how horrible of an experience it was (maybe 2-3 months between matches lol).

Post-6.1 still isn't good, but it's miles better than what came before.
