    That's just it...you don't fight latency unless you have a horrible internet connection. You fight the boss, that's it. Even the Japanese complain about latency problems but nothing that prevents them from beating a primal. Seriously, that's just being blunt, get better at dodging and managing your timing that's it. You don't have to "fight latency"..most people are saying "get better" because people used it as an excuse for over a year as to why they couldn't beat Ifrit.

    To all the people dying to the astral flow, try increasing your damage output, the optimal jumps you want is 2 or less. If she jumps more than that you are pretty much doing the fight wrong because every time she jumps and uses her wide range AoE its like multiple plumes blowing up on each pillar. Any reasonable DD should be able to get down plumes two times.

    If you can prevent her from jumping more than twice and you can get the plumes down flawlessly each time they jump (Which any half decent group should be able to ) You will have all 4 pillars maxed out going into astral flow plumes. This gives you alot of breathing room because even if you have multiple plumes blow up on 2-3 pillars everyone in the party will survive if they have a stoneskin up.

    Are you serious? You doubt it has anything to do with a party's skill? Not to try and sound rude, but it sounds to me like you may need a reality check. What you "think" is a skilled party might not actually be.

    A skilled party consists of players who know their role and how to deal with situations spontaneously. Your damage dealers should be able to deal a consistent flow of great damage, while at the same time know how to position themselves and move to a different location depending on the phase. Dead DPS = No DPS so it's all about survivability. If everyone does what they're supposed to do, your only need one White Mage as a healer as I've healed Hard Mode Garuda like this successfully multiple times.

    Hint: Her wind patterns are constantly changing in the final phase. Her Astral Flow damage can be reduced. You can research the strategy on the internet if you haven't figured it out. Good luck to your party.

    It's a shame really... I love the Garuda fight, but I agree the community just seems to no longer be interested, which I can't understand...

    "We want harder content"... SE gives... "Too hard don't care" or "Trolololol exploit"

    There are always going to be issues like latency in games; hell even normal console games that are single player bug me at times when something glitches or monsieur Drake jumps from a ledge when I wanted him to climb up.

    It's part of a game, and as annoying as it is, you'll ultimately have to deal with it... or live next to the server haha.

    I wish there were more shouts for Garuda fights, even just a 4 stack on babeh Garuda is a fun change of pace to myself.
    Pickup pts are always dangerous ground, but are still fun none-the-less (in my opinion anyway).

    They just need to fix it so we can do it with pick ups. That way no more sitting around being bored because you have to have some weird static with melded gear to win D:

    You can do it with pickups, you just cant do it with bad pickups that are consists of terrible players sporting full AFs. There are no need to fix her to cater for baddies.
