Garuda's Difficulty

I'm wondering if anyone has beaten Garuda since they fixed the manaburn exploit, because it seems like she is unbeatable now. If someone has done so, would they be kind enough to explain how they did it? If not, are there any plans on the devs part for additional adjustments?

Unlike moogle and ifrit which if some members suck you can still manage to beat, Garuda requires 8 members with skill and gear that KNOW how to play. That's why most can't beat it and that's why no one do pick up groups. It's a waste of time.

Yes it can be beat. Seems that it can't because all good clans got it with blm burn before or keep getting it now clan only.

I have been in some very skilled parties, and still have yet to get a win, So I doubt it has anything to do with a party's skill, and the reason no one does groups is because most manaburned thier way to all the weapons.

Are you serious? You doubt it has anything to do with a party's skill? Not to try and sound rude, but it sounds to me like you may need a reality check. What you "think" is a skilled party might not actually be.

A skilled party consists of players who know their role and how to deal with situations spontaneously. Your damage dealers should be able to deal a consistent flow of great damage, while at the same time know how to position themselves and move to a different location depending on the phase. Dead DPS = No DPS so it's all about survivability. If everyone does what they're supposed to do, your only need one White Mage as a healer as I've healed Hard Mode Garuda like this successfully multiple times.

Hint: Her wind patterns are constantly changing in the final phase. Her Astral Flow damage can be reduced. You can research the strategy on the internet if you haven't figured it out. Good luck to your party.

Garuda is a memory fight... she does X you move to position A, B, C, D.

There's a huge guide somewhere on the forums to everything she does.

Why trying to beat her if you already got all your weapons from manaburn?
It was a mistake on SE's part to legalize that bug, as it effectively killed the content.

What they should have done is not punish those who used that way before the bug was confirmed (which weren't that many), but once it was, they should have stated abusing it is against the ToS and acted accordingly. Then the majority of the population would still be making Garuda runs.
