Controller disconnects from game ever few mins on pc

Hello, I've been experiencing this problem for quite some time. My controller will quit taking inputs for a second or two and then will be fine for about 30 seconds then do so again. Afterwards, it may be fine for 5 mins or a couple of hours but the disconnect always happens in pairs. It's really beginning to cause problems with my raid static as this can prevent me from executing mechanics properly and create wipes. I'm an avid controller player and this only happens in FFXIV.

I've looked into this before with no working solution. I've tried disabling root emulators and multiple USB ports but nothing seems to work. I took a deeper dive into researching this weekend and believe I've discovered the true problem. The outages coincide with my device manager refreshing the device list, which I believe is where FFXIV is restarting it's connection with my controller/dongle. This refresh also coincides with the gaming services generating a second process and then ending that process. Both starting and ending the new process cause the device manager to refresh which causes my controller outage and explain why it always happens in pairs.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much I can do about this process. It's part of windows and there is no way to remove or uninstall it without removing it from the powershell, as far as I can find. This method is not acceptable as it is required for certain other games. I've tried uninstalling and limited as much of the xbox applications as I can from my PC but that doesn't seem to have any effect.

I'm making this post hoping someone may already have a solution and hopefully help make this problem aware to the devs. As I stated earlier, this is the only game I experience this problem and believe it has something to do with how the game is coded or how it communicates with devices on the PC.

I've been having this issue as well and it looks like it's linked to other devices disconnecting/reconnecting to my PC for some reason. This only happens with FFXIV from what I can tell as well since i've tried on different games such as RE5 and the issue doesn't occur on there.

I have a bluetooth keyboard that will decide to go to sleep whenever it feels like it. Sometimes a couple minutes after the last input, sometimes half an hour after last input with no reasonable pattern. When it goes to sleep or wakes up, I have about 5 seconds where my controller stops responding, even when the controller isn't wireless

I have 2 computers sharing a mouse/keyboard, so I put them on the other PC and the problem went away
