    Savage/Extreme/Unreal Raids Duty Support

    What does the community think of having Duty Support option for Savage/Extreme/Unreal fights? The only way to get proficient with these fights right now is with a Full Party of PCs, and it's difficult.

    It seems like the hardest part to clear these fights is finding 8 people to agree on particular day and time of the week (static) to practice and learn mechanics. If that's what certain people want to do with their time that is ok, but there should be an alternative.

    Having Duty Support will help all players.

    I don't particularly think high end multiplayer content, of which there are already story modes, need to be clearable solo with NPCs. And I especially don't think they should divert dev resources into making it possible.

    Top tier content should require player interaction. This is an MMO after all. The duty support system is in place for casual content - allowing players to do older content (like dungeons) without queuing up.

    In my opinion, devs struck the right balance between where we can use NPCs and where we cannot. Keep it as is.

    The moment they even consider that is the moment I'll quit after 10 years of playing....seriously do you honestly hear yourself....turning a challenging content that is meant to require group interaction in a MMO into an NPC clearable content is insulting to me....now I'm NOT opposed to challenging SOLO content but not raids

    I understand how you feel and what you're saying. It can be something like an expert difficulty of any videogame, but at least an option to get exposed and learn mechanics without relying on other people.

    There's all sorts of players that we can define between casual and hardcore, and I refuse to believe that to be closer to the latter, you have to be able to invest and join a static in order to learn how to be good at Savage/Extreme/Unreal content. Looking in PF to learn these fights is like when you just graduated college and employers ask for experience for you to land the job you want regardless of your skills and potential. I think the option of learning Savage/Extreme/Unreal mechanics on your own time vs asking/paying people is a good one.

    They can start with P1S to P4S! Doesn't have to be latest content.

    I think maybe for the Bahamut raids since they are dead and basically no real way to enjoy them synced besides praying to the gods of pf. Like my friend had to carry me through those so I could see the story. That's lame. I would like to actually be able to do that content in some reasonable capacity.

    I don't ever see this happening. I understand Duty Support for story based things, since basically the entire game is locked behind the story anyway. You MUST complete it, but for content that is completely optional and you can simply not do?

    I understand your reasoning, and so many players would benefit from it (including myself), but I'm not sure I actually agree.
