I heard Thordan is another one that suffers from this issue. Can't think of any other trial at the moment.

The other two capstones (Shinryu/Hades), and then arguably every ARR and HW trial is undertuned. Naturally, they age worse the older they get. The ARR ones are joke fights that end in two minutes. Compare this to Titania which can still take 10.

Thordan just happens to have both issues. Everything in there needs a flat 100% HP and damage increase in addition to a lower ilvl sync.

Hades especially feels bad that he's so easy. The cutscene just before the fight builds him up to be a beast but with the current max ilvl requirement you mow him down mercilessly so.

But at minimum this would be nice:

Thordan gets the King Mog re-work treatment for normal mode and ilvl reduced.

Shinryu / Hades get an ilvl reduction.

Hades was a joke even when he was new, I'm afraid. Nothing about the normal version of that fight was ever challenging, and he was getting mowed down from go. Shinryu on the other hand at least used to pose something resembling a risk, albeit only for those with poor situational awareness.

It's less that the old trials are undertuned and more that they're victims of massive amounts of power creep. The farther back you go, the worse it gets. Compare Titan (Hard) to Ravana to Susano to Titania.

I would agree entirely with this and as a result older content is no longer sync'd to the level it used to be. It needs a re-balancing.
