I feel like the Geomancer crowd predicts Geomancer EVERY expansion anymore until it finally happens.

99.99% chance probably a Titanman alt

The GEO crowd has been huffing copium for 6 years at this point. It's just like chemist, necromancer, and thief - it's likely not going to happen. They already wrote into the AST quests that GEO is a hybrid CNJ/AST. Yes, they COULD retcon an entire questline spanning the entirety of SB but WOULD they?
At least I will give Pictomancer guessers one thing - It's a better guess than Geomancer. At least the Ninja Turtles shirt had something to do with the Pictomancer guess.

That's kinda small, not impossible but clover = greenmage because it was an accessory on an artwork?
It's also a clover which could be linked to gambler as well.
And as other pointed out, we might get "Green mage" but in name only, with one spell "Shell" just to be Magick Barrier.

Could be related or not, just a really interesting item to show. Also i kinda not sure it would be related to corsair/gambler since that would be luck theme and its only a three leaf clover and not four. That's kinda small, not impossible but clover = greenmage because it was an accessory on an artwork?

On that point you're correct, they would never put so much focus on a random item. It doesn't help that Krile is speculated to have the latest job especially as the other scions aren't shown with new outfit.
Corsair and Green mage are popular demands as well.
As for Gambler, I was thinking of a deck of card, the diamond, the heart, the spade and clubs.
I don't think the accessory confirms it but yes, it heavily leans towards Green Mage.
Now to see the hell they're going to do with that Corsair.

It's probably not Elementalist, or at the very least, I don't think it will be called that. In French, that's what they decided to go for to translate Conjurer back in 1.0, and it's still a thing, unfortunately.
Granted, the french translation also took some liberties (Astrologian -> Astromancian, Gunbreaker -> Gunsaber).
I'm getting the idea that this is either Green Mage (which would be a bit of an awkward name in FFXIV considering its a DPS, but I guess blue mage kinda broke that down somewhat) or Geomancer.
They took an OG Jobs name and slapped it on the new OC Donut Steel. They could do the opposite just as easily.

My plan is simple—if I am correct, Aspected Benefic will intertwine with the barrier's geomantic energies, mending it as easily as it does flesh.

The energies twist together with ours like sun and moon, like darkness and light. They are as one, Master!
The lore book also says Kyokuho applies AST to GEO, as if it’s a part of that discipline now:

So much of geomancer already exists as the plot of an existing job questline and reuses the assets of a different class that still exists in the game. The only real geomancer in the world learned how to do it through said questline and couldn’t repair barriers made with geomancy until after he learned astrology.
I personally don’t see the appeal in introducing a new job that either has to awkwardly dance around all that or involve redoing a series of quests to have it fit in better when we could just have something new instead. But maybe there are people out there super devoted to the job and I’m just not one of them.

The main issue with GEO imo (other than having to bastardize AST lore, which SE has shown themselves to be fully willing to do already) is the gameplay. To capture the 'GEO Identity', the only way I can see it working is to have a 'Geomancy' skill that changes effect based on where you're standing, to mimic the 'effect changes based on arena background' from older games. Effectively, it'd play as 'Ley Lines - the job', with several 'zones' to place in various locations. That, considering how much we have to move for mechanics and such, would not mesh well I think. They could do something different, but then it runs the risk of 'not being GEO'
I'm also not a fan of 'take this concept from job, make new job from it'. If WHM had to lose it's elemental stuff so that GEO could be made, that's stupid to me. Same with AST/TIM, and same to an extent with SMN losing it's DOTs so that GRN could exist, if it is GRN. It was stupid when Warlocks had to lose Metamorphosis in WOW so that Demon Hunters could exist, and it'd be just as stupid here

So where did all the Pictomancer threads go? Here's to Ink Mage being thrown in the dust bin.
Green Mage sounds like altogether better idea, but i would like speculation as to what they would use as a weapon.
A mace & shield would be nice, would suit a buff/ support play style. Perhaps even a whip or snake sword set up.
