Frankly this is the best alliance raid i truly enjoy since the towers in 2.0. The lore on the twelve where players like myself are really interested in.

Enjoyed the Raid in itself, though I think I slightly prefer Euphrosyne.
The music was as incredible as ever though! I'd argue that to be one aspect of these raids that they've always gotten right!
I dont think it's that seperate. I think thrice come ruin is the logical step up from vuln stacks. Vuln stacks in theory put you closer to dying but in practice often times werent strong enough to be a threat. Thrice come ruin guaranteed the death. I can see where you're coming from though.Thrice come ruin in eden wasn’t so much so you couldn’t completely ignore the mechanic, it was so you could only solve it in a very specific way that they wanted you to figure out (it’s why Gaia is considered a puzzle boss)
They could have made it so you could “solve” the mechanic differently and just get a damage down on some players for getting hit by 4 things but they wanted you to solve it one very particular way which is why they used thrice come ruin
Regardless that doesn’t really factor into the vuln vs damage down debate because it’s a seperate situation
I look at the comments and see the excuse that casual content should be easy cuz AR were always meant for casuals, but still a lot both hardcore and casual players remember Ivallice, Nier and Heavensward as relevant content. This is because Myths of the Realm had barely anything engaging to the point that the designs feels lazy.
I was excited to play the last AR on day 1 because I thought it would be like my experience in other ARs like Ivallice or the Nier raids. You get to interact with people out of your group (Hardcore savage raiders or casual stay at home toons who only care about housing) and the skilled players would help the more casual players to clear the content. It wasn't Extreme/Savage hard, but I liked the interplay. This was just absent, it felt like I was soloing a MSQ instance.
old normal 24 raid mechanic solve math, kill ads before dps check, active tower to attack the boss, become a frog, become a stone, hackerman, run to the boss before u died, door use kame kameha, got eaten by the boss
meanwhile endwalker 24 raid mechanic tank buster, find save spot, tank buster, find save spot, tank buster, find save spot, tank buster, find save spot, tank buster, find save spot, tank buster, find save spot, tank buster, find save spot, tank buster, find save spot, tank buster, find save spot, tank buster, find save spot, tank buster, find save spot, tank buster, find save spot lmao and people say this raid is hard af hahaha

its like this:
visually entertaining? (sometimes even too many effects) check
great soundtrack? check
gameplay? who cares, go do savage...
Just watched a Healer only run of the raid and it does let you see more of the fights themselves.
Sadly, they do not have more engaging mechanics hidden behind their woefully low HP. They really are just dungeon bosses... or maybe even solo duty bosses given how basic their attacks are :T
