That would be amazing if it happens! I like the layout of my small as it is, but if they let me add an attic… it would be perfect!

I know they had been working on a way to allow us to at least not have the wall pillars displayed if not also change them to the pillars of another district.

It would be marvelous if we could also change the interior size. With interiors already instanced, it doesn't seem outside of reasonable. It's something that's been brought up in past housing discussions.

I'd love to be able to redesign the interior completely (placement of stairs, etc.) but this would still be a major improvement.

It sounds like base interior can be changed to a degree. I wonder if item limit will also be increased? Or is that what is meant by change the size of the interior?
I've been told by several people that there will be a housing item increase-or will there be a backpedal of that? or is it a mistranslation.
Another change I'd like to see is to change the grass in our yard. I like the grass from the Lavender beds, being flowers but my house is in the Mist due to plot unavailability.

I think the previously mentioned item increase is still a separate change regardless of the "Housing Mirage" they're working on.

If the change to interior was a mistranslation, none of the other bilingual players have come forward to correct it yet so I suspect it is accurate. With interiors being instanced, it seems like it shouldn't be difficult to accomplish and would explain the use of "Mirage" for the feature.

Questions I would have:

Would interior size be a permanent decision when constructing the Estate Hall at purchase/relocation or could it be changed later? If a permanent selection, I assume we'd be charged the existing fees for Estate Hall construction based on interior size not exterior (400k small/1 million medium/2 million large) (though the exterior appearance would remain appropriate to the plot).

If it can be changed later:
Would there be a cost involved when it is being changed?
Is there a limit to how often the interior could be changed?
When changing an interior size or architecture, would all currently placed furnishings be moved to the Storeroom? If so, would the Storeroom have the same temporary increase it currently has when relocating?

It would be nice to allow the ability to upgrade any plot to a large and the upgrades would cost what the different size plots do too. But that would require a major rework of existing housing zones. But if that doesn't happen, then I hope this means a cottage can have the space of a mansion inside and just explain that in a humorous way like the game does for our inventory bags lol.

Posting as a reminder for the future rage when our community takes one cursory translation and does it's usual "create head cannon based off one quote and then rage when it's not exactly what they created in their heads".

He was not saying "everyone gets a large now no matter what size you're starting with", the servers would not be able to suddenly handle everyone getting 400 slots of decor and 400 slots of storage (with a potential increase) for every single home there is. I think shifting internal layouts so that there is more spaciousness makes sense, like removing the second floor of a small, medium or large entirely and having a sandbox more or less to work with.

I think it's healthier to have a realistic expectations based on game precedent and then definitely not come and harrass the devs based off of misinterpretations in the future.

The current official stance on increasing item level is "we want to do it, and we're looking into it, but no promises". Fans are expecting at least a small increase to interior item count in 7.x though. Exterior, probably not.

Empatically agreed; my question would be will they tweak item limits.
