Forced representation is not good and it is disingenuous. Allow it to come naturally through the sequence of events that follow in the story, or allow the hunts to be subtle and interpretive, or don't have it happen at all, IMO

It shouldn't really feel forced into the story., subtleties such as that with the Steadfast Companion and the Blundering Treasure Hunter are nice, as is the Rising vendor NPC. - They shouldn't need to force it on peoples' faces because bothering to learn about the world and its inhabitants is too difficult.

All of this imo, people just want to force it in the game and that's the problem with it, it should really just "happen out of the blue" instead of being put in just for the sake of it.

I'm a PoC myself, and people from my country usually also don't care to see representation on screen and most attempts to pander to our ethnic demographic are met with mockery. Like, if it's important for your culture then by all means go for it, just don't expect the rest of the world to think or want the same,that's also a firm of imperialism.

Many people got into positions of power by making it a big issue.

It's not about the benefits of the minority, people of color, or LGBTQAI@%^+GodKnowsHowManyGendersAreThere. It's about means to make profit off of it, climbing the social heirachy, and obtaining power.

I don't like it when companies just force a character to be a certain way just so they can say they are representative. I think it should make sense in the story.

I like how they currently do it where it's often left unclear so that we are kept guessing. It's much less in the way like that.
