Will Dawntrail Surprise Us With A Major LGBTQ+ Character In The MSQ

All the signs are pointing to Endwalker including a major LGBTQ+ character in the MSQ, if you look at the history of CBU3.

First, they allowed Same Gender Eternal Ceremony bonds.

Second, Square Enix publicly supports Black Lives Matter by donating 250 million dollars.

Third, Square Enix publicly supports the LGBTQ+ movement by making Dion Lesage a gay character in FF16. It even got banned in Saudi Arabia.



So, I Believe... The Next Movement of this symphony is an LGBTQ+ character in FF14. Because FF16 had a gay masculine-identifying character, we will probably get a Femme LGBT character, or even Trans. I think Zero may come out as Lesbian in Dawntrail.

I personally feel like the Devs shouldn't be forced to implement something cause of some pressure from outside. Let them make their own decisions, if a character is gay then that character is gay, duh. And if they decide the whole world is straight also fine by me. Rather have them focus on important character traits and not some sexuality bs no matter if straight or gay.

Also we already have multiple gay characters/couples in the game. Enough representation for my taste.

I'm a PoC myself, and people from my country usually also don't care to see representation on screen and most attempts to pander to our ethnic demographic are met with mockery. Like, if it's important for your culture then by all means go for it, just don't expect the rest of the world to think or want the same,that's also a firm of imperialism.

I don't like it when companies just force a character to be a certain way just so they can say they are representative. I think it should make sense in the story.
