Buttons on laucher dissapear after entering credentials

Having this same issue, have tried all the suggested options around Microsoft Edge, but nothing is helping.

Apparently if you move the cursor around until it changes to a hand.. you can still press play. The button is INVISIBLE.

yeah that is pretty much the way I been logging on. Thought it also prevents me from seeing progress on any updates.

Try deleting the launcher files in documents>mygames>ff folder, they will be reinstalled by default after relaunching the launcher, see if that does anything. The files you are looking for are ffxiv.cfg, ffxiv.boot.cf.

If this doesn't work, clear history and cache data from ie if it still exists and or edge. Else, locate the launcher executable right click then properties to allow as administrator then also adding the executable as a firewall exception and or anti-virus exception if you use one of those.

tried both files, still nothing. Feel like there is a piece of information we are just missing. For me the old style launcher worked just fine but something is different about the newer one.
