I dont think the notes specified Eureka being blocked off but maybe we'll see more in the full patch notes?


I didnt even think about the potential botting with free trial accounts in certain content. It makes sense why Ultimates are blocked off anyway

I don't see an issue with with free trial players in Eureka not like they can horde gil with that 300k cap and they cant even use shout chat so they will struggle to get to NM or partys

If it dosnt improve sales or drag in money => it will not exist..

Wouldn't that actually be a lot of work though? Cause it wouldn't just be as simple as gearing up, you'd also need materia melds and food buffs on the FT characters, meaning they'd have to do all of that themselves. Or maybe sellers are just that good and they don't need all of that.

It takes roughly two days from what I know with a bot to get from level 1 to level 70. Which if anyone is doing any sort of under the table RMT, they are most definitely botting their way though. And since it's a free trial there is far less risk of being banned over a bot. It's a throw away already. Sale teams would use those characters to sell carries, and RMTs will probably sell accounts with all the ultimate weapons on one account at a marked up price.

Make the only challenging content at Lv70 be locked behind a paid subscription. Surely that will convince new players that the game isn't simply a snoozefest through and through.
