Weather in Gridania and Lavender Beds sometimes don't match

1. Teleport to Gridania
2. Note that it's raining
3. Transfer to Lavender Beds without the weather transition happening (which occurs at 00:00, 08:00 and 16:00 ET)
4. Note that it's Cloudy

I have thus far observed this phenomenon twice in Gridania and Lavender Beds. The first time occurred 28 September. I did not note the time of that particular weather window.

I'm not sure if this is an intended change, but in my 6+ years playing the game I don't recall the weather ever deviating between Gridania and Lavender Beds (or any city-state and its respective housing zone for that matter).

They're different zones, they don't have connected weather. While the weather charts are roughly the same, there is a small chance that the weathers will not be aligned.

This image details all weather in all zones of the game (through ShB). The weather algorithm pulls an RNG that essentially creates a straight line through each weather grid. Look close, and you'll see that at the very bottom of Lavender Beds, the weather can be clouds, while the bottom of the Gridania zones remains rain. It will also be when you'll get Lightning in Central and East Shroud, or Clear skies in North Thanalan, etc.
