    Endsinger is fixed, now fix the rest. Max ilvl is too high on old content.

    The maximum item level (ilvl) and occasional default echo inclusion have made older content, particularly the main story quest (MSQ) capstone trials, excessively easy, to the extent that it's no longer enjoyable.

    It's like using the SNES Game Genie, where you're skipping entire fight phases, some dialogue, and eliminating any shadow of challenge from previously normal content (with the exception of a couple dungeons). This decline in difficulty can be tied to the power creep resulting from job adjustments and additions over the years.

    It is time to take this power creep into account and re-adjust the max ilvl of old content. This adjustment would be to restore these battles to a state resembling their original difficulty when they were current (not brand new) content, effectively "syncing" them appropriately.

    If this isn't an option then perhaps a min ilvl roulette would be. It would be harder than the above in terms of difficulty but it would provide a new roulette that can help restore the original feeling of that content.

    What is your opinion?

    I completely agree. A lot of old content is just way too easy even for sprouts. It kind of ruins the experience for them.

    Titania normal is still a 50% chance of failing the DPS check first pull, so it should be on a case by case basis. DF wants roulettes to be clearable in about 1-2 pulls max, anything more and people will start leaving duties.

    Titania is already sync'd by virtue of not being a capstone trial.

    I agree. Gear progression is important when the expansion is current, but not for previous expansions. All previous expansion content should be item level synced to the tier it was released in.

    The only story content I think is too much minimum IL that I've done is A1, because you actually see some laser mechanics and they are devastating to a group of sprouts. Before the stat squish, I took a party of sprouts through A1-A12 and after a lot of progression in A1, we were 1-shotting all the rest. I took them through it this way so that it would be fun for them, after seeing so many boring first time clears that didn't show what the content used to be like.

    The first two trials of every expansion are already item level synced very tightly. The rest are not. Titania used to be worse before the Echo as well where they were incapable of ever beating the DPS check even after several pulls. I remember a similar problem in the extreme version at one time as well.

    I was watching a stream once and they were doing Titania and the party was actually struggling that much with DPS so the streamer couldn't clear it (wasn't their fault either). It was before the minimum item level requirements were added to leveling dungeons, so you would get people in early Stormblood gear or worse when better gear is available from the MSQ before entering.

    Min ilvl on any content older than ShB is basically about adequate sync anyway because of how much potency creep has happened on older content

    A MINE run of any of the crystal tower raids for example these days is still easier than when people had random gear when it was patch content

    Labyrinth of the Ancients was tuned for 6 tanks and I think they'd have to do a decent tuning pass on it for it to make sense with only 3 tanks if they did put an ilvl sync on it. That being said I am all about seeing the old mechanics in CT again.

    I agree, there needs to be more stringent ilvl caps on all of the synced stuff.
