    That and those tanks most likely want gear since they're guaranteed to get it. I had the same idea in mind.

    (well Red Mage best mage after all)

    My guess would be that on day 1 of new content, people like having lots of rez spells available to keep the raid going, since day 1 of anything tends to have more deaths than usual.
