Groan please no.Yoshida also commented about some topics during the downtime on a liveblog.
Summary/Highlights:
- If there is a lot of feedback asking for it, the team could continue to update Island Sanctuary after 7.0
- Plans for major "Lifestyle"-type content in 7.0, similar to Island Sanctuary.
- For the 7.0 Unreals, it's possible that Endwalker level 90 fights could be updated for level 100.
Originally the Crystal Tower raids were like this. Completely optional and your reward for doing them down the line was the extra dialogue and such with the Exarch both before and after the reveal. Then they made CT required MSQ, because it was so important to ShB's story. Depending how big this branching path is...they might go back and make Eden MSQ. Though, in my opinion, they should first work on making Binding Coils MSQ, because that has a lot of important story bits and ties up loose ends in regards to what happened with Bahamut during the calamity. It also shows you where the hell Alisae went during the whole of ARR!
my guess is we will see a certain person in one cutscene... she might even say one or two unimportant sentences
and what about unukalhai and that whole save the 1. and 13. stuff? i wished thats msq too.... so many jobs starting on high lvls, doing the role quests isnt that big of a tasks
So much yes... they shouldve written the role quest so you can do it with two roles as well... its a waste to have such an huge plotpoint wasted, as many will never bother... heck i know plenty ppl who leveled all jobs but never did those quests...
More tank homogenisation..
Idk if i want to continue playing this game in 7.0
True! I ran them unsynced with my FC mates just for the story, because no one was running them when I started in Stormblood. lol probably a large chunk of why Alisaie is one of my favorite characters too.Originally the Crystal Tower raids were like this. I’m sure it’ll probably just be some sort of extra conversation with Ryne, unless they’re going to have Ryne give a synopsis of the events of the raid to players who didn’t run it, which seems unlikely…
It started as a nice easter egg worldbuilding thing, but now that it's an actual plot point in EW's MSQ it's really kind of a head scratcher for anyone who finished the caster/all role quests in ShB....at least they realized Ryne should be involved to an extend.
PS: I wonder if that means we'll get a Gaia cameo this time

This change is completely forgetting people on the Road to 80 servers. It's very possible to be far above the MSQ and thus not have access to gear appropriate to the level that you're at. Like Snow said, you'd have to buy something instead of being able to get the gear from in-game means and if you're fresh on Dynamis you may not be rolling in riches just yet. Hopefully they can look at adding an MSQ qualifier. If you are doing the HW msq at level 82 something is very very wrong with your progression lol.
Make friends. It's a social game right? Friends are usually willing to help with gearing. Or people in novice network. Old gear is easy to make and takes little time.
