Patch trailer, patch notes, and expansion trailer are all terrible

This game has never become so underwhelming and boring before. I even love FF4 and none of this sparks even the slightest bit of excitement in me any more. You know what did? 3.4, 4.5, and to a lesser extent, 5.5. I hate to see this game decline so hard.

I was this bored in both 2.5 and 3.5 respectively. Everyone has different experiences, but I think 2.5 was the boredest I had ever been in this game because there was no content at the time, no cross visiting, hardly any variety in dailies, barely even any RP. Granted it was the earliest expansion, but since this post seems to be about comparing boredom at this period of time to older expansions, 2.5 will always be the worst for me. Most people wouldn't know how dull that period of time was if they never played it. We're far better off right now even if the game is in a slump. The game is boring right now, don't get me wrong, but it's definitely a matter of how many goals interest you compared to other people. I would have been really board during Shadowbringers if I didn't keep myself busy playing Ultimate catchup.

I kinda agree with OP on that one, the cinematic quality has really dropped overall. Not only in the trailers but also in the content itself.

Lets hope that the upcoming trial isn't as underwhelming as the fight against Golbez on the monochrome moon which has permanently damaged my poor eyes.

The Dawntrail trailer wasn't very exciting, I agree, since it just had everyone on holiday. But the patch trailer seemed fine to me.

I actually enjoyed that trial more than a lot of the ones we've had in Endwalker patches, especially the extreme version. Barb was good but it had too much green for my liking. I guess rubi was ok but that was too much fire. All the fights have seemed to have this one-color thing going on.
