    Please address players griefing/AFK'ing in Crystalline Conflict for "fast" Series EXP

    For context, the Series EXP gained in Crystalline Conflict for winning versus losing is quite similar: 900 EXP for winning and 700 EXP for losing. Only a difference of 200.

    This has led to players purposefully griefing and/or refusing to participate in the match in order to "guarantee" a loss for "quicker" EXP gain. It is incredibly frustrating when you just want to play the game.

    A few solutions come to mind:
    1. Without nerfing the EXP gain from a loss, they could slightly increase the EXP for winning to increase the difference in EXP (something like 1050 Series EXP to make it a 50% difference, therefore every 2 wins is equivalent to 3 losses).
    2. I assume something is done for players who are ONLY AFK'ing, but that cheat detection needs to be extended somehow. This is obviously the much harder solution, as it would require some system that would be able to differentiate a griefing player from one who does not know what they are doing.

    Any and all discussion is welcomed and encouraged, I don't really post here but I love PvP and would love to see it being played properly.

    The unfortunate reality is that, if the total series exp required to progress remains the same, they'd have to decrease the exp gained on loss to combat the resident sleepers of CC matchmaking. The people dedicated to grinding through quick losses would still just go for quick losses because the number of losses required to reach rank 30 wouldn't have changed. (They could additionally always increase the exp required to reach 30, but I doubt many people want that, right...?)

    I'd like if they provided a faster method of reporting griefers and afk'ers (that wasn't easily abusable). Currently you could get through an entire match and a half in the time it takes to just report a single person, and most people know that, and know that most teammates just won't bother.

    This is most likely happening because it is the last week before the current series rewards are gone and the FOMO is kickin real hard. Gotta spam PVP as much as possible to get from rank 2 to 25 for the prize. Nothing like a hard upcoming deadline to push people to finish something as hard and as fast as possible.

    Yep. Because the main underlying issue is the time difference. The 700xp is like 1.5-2min if you throw hard enough while a win is going to take 5-8min most times. To making winning worth it, it would need to be around 3x as much series xp minimum. Imo, I would just have it check to see a few things:
    - Is the match under 3min in duration
    - if someone lost a match with under 100k damage output and 100k healing output or something similar
    - find a % gap that's unacceptable compared to teammates and have a flag for that person tied to the account. If you get 3 flags in one day, you get locked out of queue for 24 hours for that game mode. If you trigger a lockout 3 times in a week, you get locked out for a month. If you trigger x amount of flags total in a season, you get locked out of that game mode entirely for that season and the next season.

    I don't grief or troll personally but I have been part of the FOMO train for series 3 and it took me about 3 days to jump from 9-26 for the Monarchy set . I do see the issue though at hand with the aforementioned topic though because there some players on a repeat queue where they play poorly to the point that sometimes its just AA and nothing else in order to get that exp . It is quite annoying in all honesty and I wish we could have clientside reporting instead of having to look up players on the Lodestone to report them .

    I think if they made PVP fun or enjoyable, that would probably fix people afking for rewards. People afk roulettes. Make the content fun and rewarding and it won't be a problem. Queuing up for Frontlines 9 out of 10 times is a miserable experience. I get frustrated when I see people afking, but I don't blame them one bit.
