I dont think there is any need to own you to be fair, as I said in the other thread I am literally the furthest from defending this company, I think they use terrible practices and that the content is absolutely mediocre to no end, I'd rather switch back to WoW if I want to do content because at least it's fun there

All that to say that I am literally on the negative side regarding this game except for socializing and housing/pvp+ maybe a bit of crafting

But your attitude is not "cool", I'm not sure why you think it is, somehow you think like you're some pinnacle of trolling because you make absolutely useless threads like "is anyone playing ffxiv ?"

Yes people are playing FFXIV, just like people are playing WoW, ESO or whatever other game you want, what's your point ? That people play other games ? So what ? At some point you gotta make it make sense, and the whole "yeah people pay for my subs" isnt helping it, you're just making it even more cringe by saying that, what you do really isnt the big flex that you think it is, it really isnt

For me personally I am happy to admit the games not in a great place for my playstyle but threads like this serve little to no purpose other then to fuel drama for some weird egocentric gain. It gets tiring really and its funny cause people could want to voice their opinion on here but don't because they see the disorganised mess this place is or they have just quit...I think there is little reason for people who do play and have concerns to voice them here when they can clearly see troll threads baiting sub sections of the community is the only thing that remotely thrives here...there are bigger playerbase metrics on the reddit or discord for better or worse for those people to engage with.

I play every single day. I am currently working on pvping since I've been putting that off since... well, ever since they revamped pvp in 6.1. Gonna try to get every mount in the game.

I play almost everyday. I still have things I want to do and I enjoy it. I did try some other MMO's recently and to be honest not my cup of tea. Going to give BG3 another go. I tried going back to WoW after being away for years and well it didn't grab my attention at all. So all in all I do play and will continue to pay my sub until i find it not fun anymore.

Amazingly, not everyone devotes hours of every day lurking the forums and reddit of a game they don't even play. Some of us actually do play FFXIV. Who would have thought.

As for me, I'm gradually leveling/gearing alt jobs and catching up on bits and bobs like tribal rep, island sanctuary, the moogle tomestone event, etc. Finally got around to finishing the variant dungeons. Wow, Mount Rokkon is GORGEOUS!

I never did very much of Bozja before, but recently advanced the story a bit more and did Castrum Lacus Litore for the first time. That was awesome! I think I'll spend some more time in there and see how that goes.

Were at that point in the patch cycle where the most vocally dissatisfied players have unsubbed and regular players who like playing the game aren't being ridiculed by the same 5-10 people just for enjoying themselves. It also looks like the teenaged users are busy being back is school because there is a noticeable lack of angsty memes on here.

I do everyday… even if I’m playing something else, I’ll still be on XIV for at least an hour a day. Other games just don’t have enough of what I want to keep my interest up. XIV has enough variety that I can always find something to do.

Lately I’ve been working on some pvp achievements, since the Moogle tomes have helped the queues be a lot faster. But that can be frustrating sometimes, so I took a little gpose trip to Mt. Rokkon because it has beautiful fall foliage! Also decorated my house and my island for autumn, made a few new glams, and started doing my custom deliveries again so I can have enough purple scrip to outfit my crafters, gatherers and retainer gatherers. That reminded me that I hadn’t tried the new Ruby route in ocean fishing, so I’ve been doing that the past couple days. Got the minion achievement for that route my first run! Building towards the achievement for the Mora minion, but that’ll take awhile. Eventually I’ll get around to farming all the EW Ex trial mounts, but probably not til I’m finished with the first half of 6.5.

I love this game. Are there things that could be even better? Absolutely, and I make suggestions around here whenever I feel like I have something useful to contribute. But overall, the game still has more than enough to keep me entertained on a daily basis.

I spend 1-2 hours on Reddit and the forums every day, and am currently playing D:OS2 and Jedi Fallen Order.

So you're paying 15 dollars a month for forum access...?

Since you got so much disposable income, want to pay for my sub instead? At least I'm playing.

I've been playing FFXIV every day since I joined the game in October 2019.
Nowadays I do my dailies in XIV and then I play Baldur's Gate 3 in the evening.

I want to play, but I simply don't have the time presently. My spouse is being incredibly patient with me by trying to limit her Baldur's Gate 3 progression so that I don't get spoiled, but she plays much faster than I do. So out of respect for her going out of her way for me — on a game she is head over heels for, no less — I feel like the most respectful thing I can do is to spend my free time progressing in Baldur's Gate 3, since in effect my progressing allows her to play more of the game she loves. And thankfully it's like 1% burden and 99% enjoying a great game, so I have nothing to complain about. But if Baldur's Gate 3 wasn't here, I'd be spending a lot more of my time in FF14.
