    Passive Facial Expressions

Picture this: You're standing around in Limsa, looking at the people, but all you see are blank, deadpan expressions. Then you look at your own character, and you realize their eyes are just as hollow and dead as everyone elses.

Sure, you could choose to make your character emote to look happy or sad, but why does it only last for such a short time?
I want my character to sneer 24/7, without having to push a button or write a command every 3 seconds.
Please give players the option to choose their default facial expression!
It would add so much personality to the game!

I've thought of this as well. The characters in this game look very o_o by default. Half the reason I use the angry eyebrows is because I'd rather look pissed off than completely vacant. Being able to choose a more emotive default expression would be fantastic, assuming it's even possible.

On the flip side, someone standing around with a permanent /ouch face would be pretty terrifying. Perhaps instead of taking emotes directly from those currently available they could devise a few subtle face animation loops that are more expressive than the default. New /cpose options where your character looks around or something occasionally would help a lot as well.

I think that should still be the player's choice if they want to do that.
There's more than enough characters out there that manage to be terrifying even without doing a weird face, and thats all part of playing a character in an rpg.
It'd be kinda funny at the very least
