Alliance Raid Gear too boring

I'm just gonna say this now. I personally think the whole Endwalker Alliance raid sets have been extremely sleepy and boring. I understand the theme behind it being all about fantasy Greek Mythology in their designs but they really could've gone all out with perhaps making each set be its own unique thing (perhaps each role referencing a bit to one of the Twelve's looks?) rather than it all be uniform.

And this isnt just another Endwalker content bad thread, I felt the same with the ever popular Nier raid sets where they also suffered from the same monotonous designs even though the sets are referencing the style from Nier. But IMO the Nier style designs I find it too boring to pass off for cool alliance gear in the first place.

I think we truly peaked with the Ivalice gear sets. Sure it also suffers from designs replicating the style of a game; namely FFXII and Tactics but at least the designs are unique and colorful and do fit with the FFXIV aesthetic.

I wonder if anyone of you also feel this way with the recent Alliance raid sets from EW and Shb

Euphrosyne and the third one's look... meh-level. Aglaia has it best.

Nier's armors I actually liked, outside of Copied Factory. Still hunting 2nd and 3rd raids for fending pieces I'm missing. Wish female characters could've had the male sets too(vice versa for fairness).

Thats a fair argument, and I also believe that to be its big flaw. Same goes to the HW and ARR sets but what made them stand out to me at the very least is that each role gear set had its own flavor that set them apart from the other sets unlike the stuff we've been getting in recent raids where they're focusing on everything be uniform; hence the lack of style with each role sets. Can anyone seriously tell me that the Thaleia sets coming in 6.5 are any different looking from Euphrosyne or Aglaia? Its all the same design to me. It lacks pizzaz, its too samey, its too bland! They're all just boring, even if we can dye them.

on the other side... i dont like most of the nier gear, not at all. neither most of the stuff from ivalice and crystsl tower.

its almost as if people have different opinions anout glam

I like the mage robes, although I think they would look better if they were sleeveless. The crowns and sandals look good, and the detached sleeves could be useful, though I'm still wishing for a full-length version similar to the Torrent gloves – Anabaseios nearly got there but they had to add gloves and ruin it.

The DPS sets are... well... I seriously can't form an opinion on them. They're okay as a set, I don't really like them, but they just feel off. I can't picture any of the pieces mixing well with other gearsets for glamour.

And the tanks just feel like all their most generically tankiest sets, but with added frills that make it harder to figure out who would look good in it. Too bulky to make me want it for a "pretty tank" set and... actually too bulky to want it for anything else. It looks like their PVP series reward armour that I haven't wanted to get either.

I was also kind of surprised none of the gear appears to reference the actual Twelve, which I thought would have been a fun and creative choice. Instead it's super safe robes and armor pieces.

Yeah not really feeling them much. I do like the healer skirt being segmented and it's a bit more form-fitting than the previous ones so maybe I'll see how that one dyes.
