The point is the poor attitude are both a self-inflicted damage as well as a self-fullfilled prophecy.
dont buy in to this garbage, i'm still waiting on my pizza emote from over price grubhub, it will be the same here, they will magically run out of DIGITAL CODES.
also the code wont work in other regions, you all know how japan is, the rest of the world doesn't matter to them.
AUS is really bad for foreign business to do any sort of promotion (or at least used to be). There's a heavy bias toward supporting domestic companies (totally understandable) but that trickles down even to industries that don't really place domestic and foreign business in direct competition with each other.
I remember wondering if SE opening up the AUS/NZ data center might pave the way for that region to have more promotional opportunities and a better online store (real merch, not in-game stuff). So far it's not looking good.
Meanwhile im sitting here down in OCE thinking: "Wait? You guys get promotions outside the game? When are we getting well.... anything?"
I cant even buy stuff from the SE store because "Sorry we dont ship to that region."
I have 10 years of statue, CD, artbook etc in game codes i couldn't' even buy nor redeem IF i had them. "This page is not available in your region."

NA gets "promotions" but the Grubhub one took a solid month and a half of following up with grubhub support and bothering their support staff for codes until SE created enough codes for people who actually did the promotion.Meanwhile im sitting here down in OCE thinking: "Wait? I wouldn't really consider that to be something to be envious of.
i know the feeling i didn't get the pizza emote because of the rule they made. and i live in Aussie too. i got the code for the butterfinger from a friend , but i look at the kfc site rules for this one and it region account locked
would be nice if they didnt some advertising / promotion here in Australia / new Zealand to help get the materia server off the ground ,, that if they care
i know we still have to pay in euro and we still cant buy physical products from square and if we have a problem, we still are link to EU account that we have to wait for there time frame for helpAUS is really bad for foreign business to do any sort of promotion (or at least used to be). honestly. im not even mad. the emote looks hideous and is a blatent cash grab. for a dev saying he wants to keep integrity.. why the hell is there an emote of us eating japanese christmas dinner now... its just embarrisingHow will the reward work?
The kfc gives you a coupon code you put into mogstation?
Can I order kfc from jp just for the code?
I'm not mad over missing emote but confused about how eu players are being treated?
Shittiest merch from all regions.
Locked out of emotes because regions.
What else? Fall guys event on EU locked out only to 2 weeks per year like blizzard's mage tower during shadowlands?
Not suprised not the first time a game dev or console manufacture has done something like this. Look at FFX US version on ps2 had no dark aoens or penence, US version did not get them until the ps3 remaster.
