Cloud Data Center: Awful Idea

Do you know how Cloud Data Center works? Did you research it before you came on here and wrote this post about not liking it? Because if you did, you would never do this but I think it is a good idea to test it to see if it works. Cloud Technology has grown and got better in the last ten years, so it is a good time to test it out to see if it works and if it does, it might give them the ability to do other things in the future.

One of Japan's biggest game publishers and IP holders having their online services incorporated into AWS and their growing monopoly on internet infrastructure and multiplayer video games is a great thing. they said they wanted testing from around the world . will i am from aussie and i got to say this cloud test is trash , it cant even load up the Character login page just give a error and crashes the game.

So, a couple things. One, Noumenon is just a troll, he had no intent on having a good faith discussion or anything and would've just 'stood his ground' stubbornly or never respond, cause the point of this thread was to just...throw more gas onto the dumpster fire that is the forums.

Secondly, he's banned. That's why the medals under 'player' is gone. He's been banned from the forums. Though...he probably has ANOTHER alt already. So...we'll see.

Hmm, their game barely functions if you have more then 100 or so ping, and they want to do cloud servers? Doesn't seem like they understand their own product very well.

They have a very slow server tick rate. So 100 ms should still work fine.

I'd say their game barely functions unless you've got less than 20ms

For everyone else, it is what it is, EU was serviceable back when we played on US servers. Not ideal of course, but at least serviceable. We moaned, but we did also manage.

They have a very slow server tick rate. So 100 ms should still work fine.

sadly it doesn't at 120 it starts with delayed inputs and such one of the reasons titan Extreme was a PITA back in the day.
